When is the event?

Do Chaperones have to register?
No. Chaperone registration will happen the day of the event at the registration area (Bibb Graves Hall).

Why should I pre-register?
Pre-registration guarantees that you will receive a t-shirt the day of the event and secures your spot. It also speeds up the check-in process upon arrival!

Is there a fee?
Yes, the fee for JSU Band Day participants is $30 and includes a meal, price of ticket, and a t-shirt.
Chaperones are $5 per chaperone. (Price of ticket)
​Directors are free.

Why does it say $31 on the registration form?
There is a $1 processing fee for using credit or debit cards. 

Where is registration?
Registration will take place at Bibb Graves Hall. For more information about registration and parking visit the page "General Information."

What do I need for registration?
You will not need anything for registration. To make registration faster, you can print and bring your confirmation ticket, but it is not necessary.

What time does it start?

Where can I download music?
Music downloads can be found on the page entitled "Music". We ask that you have all music printed and to bring it with you.

Where can I find percussion music?
Percussion music will be taught the day of the event. There is no music for you to print off. Front ensembles will be provided music or you can download the "Flute" part.

Do I need to bring my instrument?
​We do not provide any instrument except for keyboard percussion in the front ensemble. Everyone will need to bring their own instrument.

What do parents do during the day?
We just ask that you be in the area in case an emergency arises. You are free to watch rehearsal or visit campus and the surrounding area. All individuals are required to have a chaperone. $5 for each chaperone and that fee covers the ticket to the game.

What should students wear for the event?
We will provide a Band Day t-shirt for the halftime performance and students may wear shorts (it will probably be hot on the field). Tennis shoes are required as well. Please do not wear a band uniform! 

Can auxiliary (color guard, majorettes, danceline) members join band day?
Anyone can attend band day from winds, percussion, auxiliary, and drum majors!

What will auxiliary members need to prepare or bring?
They will not need to prepare anything as all routines will be learned the day of the event. Colorguard and Majorettes will need to bring flags/batons.
